This is the beautiful velvety cobalt blue saprotophic ‘Colbalt Cust Fungus’. It typically grows on the underside of dead debarked hardwood branches and logs including ash and hazel. The margin is usually paler than the rest of the fruiting body. Most common in warm climates.
