Apiosporina morbosa (Schwein.) Arx. 1954
Common name is ‘Black Knot Fungus’. It grows on branches of cultivated and wild cherry, chokecherry and plum trees. It is in the Venturiaceae family, which is in the Pleosporales order of the ascomycota.
