Connopus acervatus (Gymnopus acervatus) (Fr. ) Murril 1916
Grows in caepitose clusters on leaf litter. Gills are pinkish-brown. Similar to Marasmius cohaerens, but has a reddish to purple-brown lower stem, rather than blackish. It is in the Omphalotacea family of the Agaricales order.
