Lactarius pyrogalus

This milky is  small to medium lightly zoned convex grayish-brown to pinkish-gray-brown cp. The gillss are attached, subsistent and slightly decurrent.. Latex is white but dries too olive-green to blue-green. Spore print is ochre, Can be found under hardwoods, particularly hornbeam and hazelnut in summer and fall. It has an odor that has been described slightly sweet and slightly unpleasant. It is not considered edible.
