‘Beautiful Ramaria’ initially has pinkish branches that age to yellowish-tan with bright yellow tips. Associated with hardwoods and conifers.
Mycorrhizal with hardwoods, especially beech. Autumn fruiting. It is in the Gomphaceae family of the Gomphales order.Yellow tips on end of pinkish-yellow branches.
This may be a different species than the European version which is bitter and has yellow flesh. Our version isn’t bitter and has white flesh. Still, it is advisable to use caution. If you do eat it, try just a small amount first.
