Boletus subvelutipes (Suilliellus subvelutipes)

'Red-mouthed Bolete’ has a red to brown convex cap. Red pores bleed dark blue instantly (as does the rest of the bolete). Reddish hairs at stipe base. Spore print is olive-brown.  Mycorrhizal with both conifers and hardwoods. It is in the Boletaceae family of the Boletales order.
