Cortinarius flexipes

This small brown cortinarius is dry-capped with a bump or point at the center and white ‘hair-like threads especially on the margin and the stem - remnants of its white cob-web partial veil, or cortina. This mushroom has the odor of the flowering cultivated geranium plant. It is in the Telemonia group of 'corts'.

This is in the Cortinariceae family of the Agaricales order.
