Tricholoma equestre (L.) P. Kumm. 1871 (Tricholoma flavovirens) 

"Canary yellow Trich”  Cap covex bcmg flat, st broadly knobbed, slippery when wet, smooth to minutely scaly at center with brown-olive tint, margin yellow. Gills free, close, sulphur YELLOW.  Stipe yellwish, smooth.  White spore print. Under conifers. Edible, but NOT RECOMMENDED. Recent fatalities in France attributed to consumption of this mushroom. Widespread and common. It is in the Tricholomataceae family of the Agaricales order.
