Omphalotus illudens (Scweinitz) Bresinsky and Besl (Jack o' Lantern)

has a clustered large brilliant orange-yellow caps and stems. They are saprotrophs found at base of trees or tree stumps. Often confused with chanterelles. They biioluminescein darkness (In case you want to see this for yourself, be patient as it may take several minutes for your eyes to adjust to the green glow. 

Contains illudin S and illuden M as well as other toxic chemical compounds and causes severe sweating and digestive problems.

Its antibacterial and antifungal effects appear be implicated in their toxic effects in humans, when eaten raw or cooked. It is in the Omphalotaceae family of the Agaricales order.
