Collybia tuberosa  (Bull.) P. Kumm. 1871

grows from leaves on the forest floor. Beneath them can be found tiny red-brown elliptically-shaped sclerotia. They draw energy from the sclerotia to grow and sporulate. Collybiaa tuberosa grows on decaying fungi and often appears appears following rain in summer and fall. It is in the Tricholomataceae family of the Agaricales order.
